2024 AMBASSADOR APPLICATION TIMELINE
November 22: Online application process open.
December 27: Final day for online applications.
December 17-26 - Applicants contacted re: 2024 status.  Invited applicants must RSVP to the program invite.
December 28: All 2024 RSVPs must be completed.
January 7: 2024 Kick Off Gathering for all accepted ambassadors.

If selected as a 2024 ambassador, you will receive an email with a link to the 2024 program RSVP.  Completing the RSVP link is the final (and required step) to becoming a 2024 3W Races Ambassador!

IT is REQUIRED in the RSVP, that ambassadors will submit a high- resolution photograph of themselves that will be displayed on 3W Races websites, Facebook pages and other promotional sites/materials relating to 3W Races! 
Pictures must be high res and you must own the rights to the picture.  Please do NOT send pics that have “copyright” or “sample” over top of the pic; these will be discarded.

What is a 3W Ambassador?

ELITE ON THE INSIDE FIRST
3W Races Ambassadors are “Elite On the Inside First”!  What does that mean?  It means that the individuals applying to be an ambassador already have a love for the running community, already love supporting local events, businesses and humanitarian charities, and they are supportive and encouraging of those around them!  We’re not concerned with the pace per mile of our ambassadors (although we happen to have some extremely fast and very accomplished runners in our midst!)  We’re concerned with how much do they give back to the community.  You'll find our ambassadors volunteering at other races, doing charity volunteer work, running their own business, helping train up the next generation of runners and generally being a huge cheer-leader for a vibrant and inclusive running community!

BECOME COMMUNITY
Over the past decade, the 3W Ambassador team has turned into something much more than just a volunteer and marketing team for 3W Races! It’s become a real community of friends and companions that support one another in both their personal efforts and their professional lives as well as in their running life! We invite you to go through the application process!

WHAT AMBASSADORS DO
As an ambassador, you will be expected to present our races at expos, run groups, social clubs, networking groups, racing events, and many other venues that provide a platform for us.  Additionally, we need volunteers at our racing events and there is a requirement of your participation at this level as well. In 2023, we ask that each ambassador commit to at least 10 volunteer 'shifts' throughout the year, one half day (of your choice) at a local charity and TWO all-group gatherings (parties)!

This is not a super strict program with deadlines and quotas; the goal is to find like-minded individuals that are excited about what we're doing and want to spread the word throughout the Front Range of Colorado!  Although it may not be a rigid program, we do expect enthusiastic participation in what we’re doing in our communities! 

Our races are a BLAST; they’re some of the best organized races in the area, with great themes, wide appeal and top-quality swag!  We are humbled by our status in the running community and also very proud of the 3W Races brand! If you agree with us and want to help continuing to grow our races and making them even better in 2023, then you may want to apply to join the group!

We recognize the efforts and time that it takes to do these things over the course of a year and we aim to please you with swag, free entries, great discounts and some great opportunities to network yourself and your own businesses as well.

AMBASSADOR PERKS
The program is a year-long commitment, and we take our end of the bargain very seriously!  We expect champions to be in our program and we treat them like champions!  Gear, free entries, parties, networking, new friends, field trips, exclusive group training are just some of the things we provide for our ambassadors.  Yes, there is a significant monetary benefit to being chosen as an ambassador and we don’t discourage people from applying just for the discounts.  Why? Because we’ve seen amazing friendships form, new runners emerge and a community that we couldn’t be happier with spring out of a group of elite people that have a common love to share!

As an ambassador you will have free entry into each of our events.  Additionally, 3W Races will enter teams into several other events during the year.  As an ambassador you will have an opportunity to represent us at these events. Some of those events in the past have been: The Ragnar Relay, The Ragnar Trail Relay, The Colfax Marathon, CrossFit Competitions, Adventure Runs, and several more.   There will be free products from many of our sponsors that will be made available to you throughout the year as well as several group gatherings so that we can "bond" as a group!  Training runs, rides and swims will be just another fun part of what we will be doing throughout the year in addition to at least one community clean-up day and group hike up a 14er!! 
 SUPPORT COMMUNITY
An ambassador for 3W Races will believe in the same vision we have for our community: Race locally, shop locally, and support local humanitarian charities when possible.  It is not required that an ambassador do all of this, but you should have an awareness of the community's businesses that partner with 3W Races and what they offer.  From coffee to shoes and skirts to granola, Colorado boasts top-notch companies providing quality products and services.  There are many small, local charities that are housing, feeding and educating the residents in our very own neighborhoods.  

At 3W Races we do our best to support and promote these businesses and charities through our local running events.  We also use social media and some limited print sources to bring awareness to these businesses and charities.  We are very excited about the past eight year's partnerships that included over 15 different charities and nearly 300 local businesses who share in this vision!  From Boulder to Colorado Springs we had fantastic partnerships that introduced tens of thousands of runners to these different entities!
