AJ B Arvada 2016 Goals: "I would love to run 5 half marathons this year, get back to pre cancer fitness and keep the cancer from coming back!"
Paul B Arvada On the 3W motto: "No matter how small or large a task, no matter what time of the day or night, no matter where you're led, anything is achievable and everything is possible. My 21 years in the US Army should be the best example to describe this motto. I definitely was "All I Could Be!" Whether traveling around the world serving my country or staying close to the home front, I always did what I could, when I could, wherever I was taken."
Elizabeth D Arvada Favorite Race: "The Costumed K-9 Canter. I do the K-9 Canter every year with my kids and my fur-baby, Dakota. Each year at least one of them surprises me with an outstanding attitude, growth in their character, or growth in their physical abilities. Also, I'm a sucker for dogs in costumes."
Jason F Westminster On being an ambassador: "3w Races has become part of my family ritual. My wife, daughter and I have had a great time all season running water stations, racing and getting outdoors together. That was the best part of our 2015 season. I want this to continue for many years to come."

Erica H Westminster On the motto: "The 3W motto encourages and supports everyone toward achieving their personal and philanthropic endeavors. The motto lets everyone know that when you do a 3W race, you will be surrounded by people who will empower you to do your best and will not judge if you have a bad day. After five years giving all my time to teaching, the motto has been a catalyst for me in the last two years to find a personal balance. "
David H Denver On being an ambassador: "I have been running and volunteering at 3W events; The staff and ambassadors are great people. I would like to help keep that spirit alive and make a difference in the local community."
Jennifer J Broomfield On the motto: "I definitely do what I can with what I have. At the beginning of this year I was told I could never run again. Instead of hearing what I couldn't do I decided to do as much as I could. I'm currently back to running even though I'm limited in terms of training and this makes it difficult. What has been so rewarding is to have others who are limited tell me that I have inspired them and given them hope."
Amy K Arvada Favorite race(s): "This is a tough question! But, hands down, my favorite race/series is the Six Pack Series!! I just love the supportive, fun environment and the way it reaches new runners. It is wonderful to meet a new runner at packet pick up and follow their progress and cheer for them as they meet their goals. So awesome!"

Even the smallest gestures or efforts, can make a world of difference to a person."
Deb M Longmont On being an ambassador: "Being a part of such a fun loving yet committed and serious group of people calls to me. This group has a purpose not only for the runners who race but for all who participate."
Bailee M Boulder Favorite local business: "I love Flatirons Running Company. I know a lot of the employees there and I love how actively involved they are in the high school and local running communities. That was a really fun day. I'm also partial to the Heart Throb, because I love Olde Town and also I got on the podium that day, again with Jack (I'll cherish that pic forever)."
Erin S Westminster On being an ambassador: "I had such a blast in 2015 being an ambassador, so I can't wait to do it again! Melissa S Brighton On being a new ambassador: "I want to help motivate others to embrace their inner runner and at the same time let my inner runner shine also. Hoping to improve all year!"
Brett S Thornton What he hopes to get out of being an ambassador: "You mean besides another free running singlet? :o) I just want to keep being part of the community. It's one of my favorite things about the company. They foster community among runners. Not just with the other ambassadors, but because we are so encouraging to ALL runners, regardless of whether they are just starting out or have been doing it for years, I feel we stand out over other race companies. And that inspires me. It inspires me to keep going, it inspires me to keep telling others about 3W Races and their partners, and it inspires me to keep doing what I can when I can where I am."
Kasey T Arvada On the motto: "The motto also resonates a sense of community. You are not obligated, just do what you can, whether its collecting donations, making a financial donation, or donating your time, whenever you can, and where you are in your neighborhood. Keep it local to help your community."
Crystal W Westminster On being an ambassador: "To inspire others to embrace the 3W motto. Getting others to understand that they first must be elite on the inside before they can truly understand the 3W motto. Getting them to understand no matter how fast or how slow one runs they are truly elite on the inside. It is that they are out there trying and finishing to meet their goal that they finished."
Amy Y Westminster On being an ambassador: "I have absolutely loved being an ambassador for the past two years. I'm honored to have had the opportunity to represent a local race company who cares about the running community and local charities. Running/fitness and giving back to the community are two of my life passions!"

Amy B Westminster On the 3W Motto: "The motto inspires me to look at the little local ways I can make a difference. You don't have to do everything, but you can do something. My life is super busy with a career, 3 kiddos and lots of youth sports, but being able to volunteer with 3W gives me the opportunity to give back to the community and also get some 'me time' in by hanging out with my friends and running. "
Kim B Highlands Ranch Favorite race: "My favorite race is still the first race I ever did, the Rattlesnake Triathlon. This race really was my entry point into racing, but it really gave me something to do to honor my grandfather who died of Alzheimer's disease"
Victoria F Westminster What she want to get out of being an ambassador: "I am hoping to get more of that the warm fuzzy feeling that happens when you encourage a person and see them cross that finish line. It's like my drug, seeing that smile when someone does something they didn't think that they could do. I want to encourage more people to get up, get out and play with our big happy fit family!"
Aubrey F Denver On the motto: "To me, the motto means to help out however I can, no matter how small. Being a teacher, sometimes get caught up in the big picture... If I remember the motto, I remember to just do my part, which is to go to work every day with a positive attitude and do the best job I can in teaching the students I have. I remember that even something small, such as taking five extra minutes to help one of my students understand something, does make a difference. I am doing what I can to improve the public school system in Colorado!"
Ashley G Westminster "I want to help someone complete a goal they never dreamed of whether it's finishing a 5k to a marathon. I want to encourage them all along the way. Showing them anything is possible."

Heath J Lakewood "I want to be a part of the team and get the satisfaction of encouraging others!"
Keith L Aurora On being an ambassador: "I love being part of a community that welcomes all - regardless of age or ability - in to it's ambassador ranks. I am grateful for all the support and encouragement that comes from the group, and getting to represent the best racing community I have ever seen is just icing on the cake!"
Kenna L Denver On being a new ambassador: "I hope to gain a community. As I mentioned, participating in 3W races this summer felt like I found my 'people,' but I would love to join and contribute to that community in a bigger, more consistent way. I am excited by opportunity to surround myself with positive, motivated, and genuine individuals who are all striving to better themselves. I want to help others reach their goals in whatever little ways that I can while using their energy to motivate myself as well."
Nathan L Westminster On the motto: "This means that from the most elite athlete, to the beginner at the very first event, the individual is encouraged to be everything they can be. Expectations are not set at a level that is unattainable, rather the experience; and accomplishment of setting a goal, working towards that goal and succeeding at that goal are paramount. Not everyone is 'blessed' with the same talents. Yet, the most 'disadvantaged' athlete is sometimes the most joyous."
Lenny M Westminster On the motto: "I have a responsibility to Do What I Can, When I Can, Where I Am. Whether that means being environmentally responsible by cleaning up my neighborhood or helping others achieve their dream of participating in their first road race, I have an obligation to think beyond myself. Our lives here are short. What we do while we are here can have an impact on the lives of others. It is our responsibility to ensure that that impact is positive and life-affirming."
Kaira M Westminster On the motto: "It means to help whenever and where ever I am. Think globally, act locally. It means that no help big or small is worth more than the other. Helping people with whatever they need, being an awesome person and helping others whenever I can."
Paula P Westminster On the motto: "This means give everyday like it's your last. Never regret and always look forward. I use to be that person on the side lines working 60 plus hours a week.....then my grandfather passed away. I wanted to do something in his honor; I ran a marathon. I started run/walking around the block and in one year I ran a marathon. Every run I do I dedicate to someone else. I do what I can for you, when I can for you and where ever I may be for you."
Susan P Arvada On the motto: "I feel like so many sponsored groups or even meet ups with other runners require a specific pace, or get really competitive, or only pay attention to the fastest runners. The 3W motto means that our runs are open to everyone - regardless of experience or running ability. I love that we are welcoming to the not-so-fast runners as well as the speedy ones...So I think of 3W and "do what I can, when I can, where I am"!
Roberto R Westminster Goals: "1. Run these races: Let freedom run, holy cow, and six pack series. 2. Beat my PR. 3. Run until I am 95 years old."
Katja S Commerce City Why she wants to be an ambassador: "I LOVE 3W races!!! I love their motto, I love the people who stand behind 3W, I love to run locally, I love the races and swag, and I love to be inspired and inspire others. On top of that, I would really like to get involved more with the local running community."
Claire S Broomfield On the 3W motto: "It means that every moment of our lives is a moment to improve ourselves and others. [Due to recent events], funds and time are both limited, but I make the commitment to volunteer at 3W events, even if all I'm doing is directing runners. I cheer and call out specific motivators for runners to help them keep moving, keep pushing. Outside of 3W this motto reminds me to always share a smile or a joke - both take so little time, effort and no money, but the impact on someone's day is amazing."
Julie S Thornton On being an ambassador: "I believe in 3W and all it stands for. Have been involved with 3W since the very beginning. I enjoy the community and camaraderie of the current Ambassadors and just the true joy of cheering on runners. I get misty every time someone gets a PR or someone who ran their first Half Marathon... it touches my heart deeply and I enjoy hearing those inspiring stories. The 3W Ambassador program is an amazing program that allows us all to do what we love and to continue to share the love, spread the good word about 3W and do good for others all in the name of something we all share a love for... 'running.'"
Marley S Westminster On being an ambassador: "Being an Ambassador fuels my love for giving back to my community that I have great affinity for, and I value that I can make a difference in others' lives - whether that is cheering on elite athletes, or helping fuel runners on a course, or encouraging someone on a course who was told by her doctor that she would never run again, or running alongside and helping my cousin and daughter cross finish lines. They are all moments of community, and moments I cherish and am proud to be a part of. Plus, I can't imagine a life without consistent doses of hugs from the super hug-able 3W staff!!"
Andy T Broomfield On the 3W Motto: "Always strive to perform at the best of your ability and help inspire others to do the same. Like at the local breweries drinking as much as you can and helping others drink more too."
Hope W Englewood What the motto means to here: "To me it's about doing my best and being my best with what I have in the moment. It's about balance. It's about knowing that my best looks different today than it will tomorrow.... It's about being present and doing all the things that actually matter, and letting go of things that don't."
